Modern beach restaurants with chill out music, a great selection of options for leisure and relaxation, activities for all ages, and buzzing nightlife make Los Álamos beach one of the most interesting on the Costa del Sol. Located at the municipal border with Malaga, it is the furthest beach from the centre of Torremolinos. Its great selection of restaurants and leisure options make it an obligatory visit if you want to get into a youthful and cosmopolitan scene brimming with entertainment.

Playa Guadalmar

Guadalmar Beach, in Málaga’s Churriana district, stands out for its excellent environmental quality from the vegetation surrounding the beach and its location that made it the main route for birds migrating to and from Africa and Europe.

It’s 400 metres long with an average width of 30 metres. It has dark sand and moderate swells, as well as an array of amenities to make your visit comfortable. They include lifeguards, a car park, beach bars, showers and toilets and sunbed and beach umbrella rentals.

The beach also stands out for being the city of Málaga’s only authorized nude bear, making it a tranquil, calm place for those preferring to sunbathe in the nude.

La Malagueta Beach

La Malagueta, between the Port of Málaga and La Caleta beach, is one of the most famous beaches for both tourists and locals. With dark sand and moderate swells, it’s 1,200 metres long and an average width of 45 metres long. It also has a palm tree-lined seafront promenade.

This urban beach is ten minutes from the city centre in the La Malagueta neighbourhood next to Muelle Uno. It has ample leisure and entertainment offerings, as well as services like sunbed and beach umbrella rentals and sailing equipment. The beach has a children’s play area that turns it into a perfect place for a family fun day.

This beach is next to the Real Club Mediterráneo de Málaga, Spain’s oldest yacht club.

Furthermore, this beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, a distinction awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education.
